Meet Patrick McDonald

Founder & Building Science Professional

Patrick has a degree in Construction Management from Appalachian State University and has worked in the construction industry for 15+ years. Large commercial firms in Asheville, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Cleveland, and Nashville have employed him.

In 2017, he received his TN General Contractor license, qualifying him for commercial, residential, and industrial work. Since then, he has completed numerous projects across Nashville, including custom homes, commercial new builds & tenant improvements, and multi-family properties.

Since 2025, his licensure has expanded to include an unlimited NC General Contractor license.

He values setting clear expectations up front for successful project delivery, strong relationships with trades, and timely communication throughout the projects he leads. You will often find Patrick on-site, troubleshooting with his tradespeople, driving quality, and documenting project milestones for his clients.

In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor adventures, cooking, and spending time with his wife, two sons, and dog in their neighborhood of The Nations in West Nashville.
