Contracted by a general contractor to oversee all aspects of pre-construction and reconstruction of a custom home in East Nashville after the devastation caused by an EF-3 tornado in March 2020. This 2,200-sq-ft custom duplex was built as an income-producing rental property on historic Holly Street. Designed with two complete living units, the home features a total of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two fully equipped kitchens — offering flexibility for multi-family use or long-term rental income. Each level features its own open-concept living space, modern cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and large windows that allow for natural light to enter. The upper level opens onto a spacious deck with views of the surrounding neighborhood, while the lower level incorporates polished concrete floors and private exterior access. This project blends efficient planning with clean, modern finishes to create a durable and functional duplex home.
