Fogg Street Lawn Club
2024
Contracted by a general contractor to manage all on-site operations, continuing the transformation of the Bad Axe property with a phase two expansion. While threading a new rooftop structure through the existing concrete building, Waterrock maintained full business operations throughout the build. Coordinating this complex phased work required meticulous surveying, layout, and coordination with hospitality staff. The Fogg Street Lawn Club project showcases a major three-story expansion for a repeat client and active entertainment venue.
The project features a street-level restaurant addition, a rooftop venue, and a dedicated elevator and stair core to support vertical circulation. Interior improvements include a British pub-themed bar installation with custom millwork and a high-capacity draft system, a second commercial kitchen, and operations staff offices. Open dining areas, durable finishes, and coordinated lighting create a refined experience built for high-capacity crowds and specialized, multi-themed hospitality service.
The exterior and rooftop additions transform the venue into a multi-level gathering environment, with covered bar areas and a turf activity lawn flexible for use as a lawn bowling court or outdoor concert venue. Weather-resistant materials and detailed structural steel fabrication support the long-term performance in a high-use commercial setting.
This project demonstrates Waterrock Construction’s ability to deliver complex commercial expansions with careful coordination, continuity of operations, and thoughtful execution across all phases of construction.
